Restaurant Review - MOMO'S

Hey guys!

Obviously I'm still failing at consistent posting but I know you guys still love me.

I'm taking you on a tour of a new food place in kumasi Ghana!

The other day I was craving proper pasta and whatever sauce was spicy enough. As you all know I'm a pasta and spicy food lover. Heard of MOMO'S and decided to stop by and get a feel.

After sitting in a cab for almost an hour because no cab driver knows the place, typical *rolls eyes* I finally got there.

MOMO'S is situated in a residential area so very quiet and good for intimate dinners. They have a pool at the center and diners are seated around it. There's music and a bar.

Now let's get to the exciting part! The food.....and drinks yeah!

Before I go further I just want to inform you all that whenever in kumasi, watch out for this mixologist called Nii. You are welcome!

I told him to mix something for me because I just couldn't decide. He did a great job and my wallet was happy too.

Once I was seated, a waiter came with a food and drink menu. Very polite and helpful to indecisive people like me. I ordered their spaghetti bolognaise and chicken wings (spicy). I didn't have to wait long for my food which is a major plus

Verdict

I wasn't impressed with the presentation of my pasta. I felt it was too simple, I'm eating at a restaurant not at home for a reason but all that was forgotten once I took my first bite. The food was delicious and proper temperature (not too hot and not cold either). I got a very generous portion too. No cheese though so felt the sauce was bit dry.

My chicken wings were delicious! It was served with a sauce I tried but didn't need. Their understanding of the word spicy is 100!!

I spent way below one hundred cedis (ghc100.00) one food and cocktails.

The downside was getting a cab back because of the location.

I will definitely go back there. If you have been there, do share your experience and rating in the comments section below or email me!
