Commint Buka - Restaurant Review
I was wandering through some parts of the mainland in Lagos particularly Surulere area with a couple of Friends. As usual, a girl gotta eat.
It didn't take long to convince everyone that having a proper lunch would be a great idea.
We headed to Commint Buka and immediately I stepped in I knew I was at the right place.
They serve local Nigerian dishes and their pricing is incredible! *covers mouth*
The restaurant is air conditioned properly and was a relief from the sweltering heat outside. For a Sunday, getting a table wasn't difficult and a polite server attended to us almost immediately.
Theirs is a buffet service type where you point at what you want on your plate and a server does the rest.
They offer regular soft drinks, juices and water.
I had their white rice with ofada sauce, beans, fried plantain and fried Fish. Don't judge me guys!!
Their sauce had the right amount of Buka pepper which means it was hot/spicy but not unbearably so. They truly capture the flavours that makes you crave buka food.
Of course I tried everyone's food! You know I have to give you accurate information.
I really enjoyed their food and environment.
Whenever I'm in this area I would definitely stop by again.
Have you visited Commint Buka, what did you think?
I know the restaurant. Ate there last year. Didn't like their egusi soup though.
