The Harvest Lekki - Restaurant Review

It was a Friday night and everyone was gathered. We all wanted to explore this new place Ib had been going on and on about. Google Maps out, we typed in 'The Harvest" and soon found our way there. You'll find them on Block 26, Plot 10 Admiralty Way, Lekki.

They have parking for days unlike most places in Lekki which is a great thing cause chances are, you won't be called out mid-meal to repark your car.

Segun was our waiter for the night. We were seated outdoors and given the menu. The menu was quite straight to the point; Mains, Sandwiches, Pizza and Drinks. I had heard so much about their Burgers but for some reason I cannot defend, I saw Seafood Pasta and forgot all about burgers that evening (support group for pasta addic...lovers anyone?)

So anyway, I had their Seafood Pasta as already established, friends had Lamb Chops with Potatoes, Mixed Grill with Fried rice (they don't have Jollof rice as a side....), Grilled Chicken with vegetables and Fried rice. My friends know they all have to order different menu options because, Sharon's blog. I love you guys! especially Ib that wanted Lamb Chops but got Chicken instead (kisses darling).

Grilled Chicken

Friday is a busy night for most places and The Harvest was not left behind but still our meals were out in 15 minutes if we even waited that long and it was delicious!

I went with the chilli option for my pasta instead of the cream sauce option. The seafood in my pasta was nicely done prawns and they were quite generous. I got about 6 pieces of prawns in my plate.

The Mixed Grill platter was a delight. It came with Fish, Sausages and Turkey. The fried rice was the perfect side to accompany this.

After I experienced Lamb Chops at The Backyard, the bar was raised and I had my fingers crossed waiting to taste what The Harvest had to offer. The Lamb Chops filled me with mixed emotions. It was tough (not surprised) but it was so juicy and delicious at the same time. Some people washed their hands and attacked with their hands because trying to eat it with a fork and knife was a bit of a workout. I did not like their potatoes though. Seemed a bit undercooked but that was just me as some other people cleaned off the plate. Not one potato was spared.

Now the Chicken. Soft and juicy. Flavourful. I loved it!  Some people did not allow my picture taking to shine before digging into their rice but it's alright. If you crave Shisha they have different flavours available you only have to be outdoors.

If you're in Lekki and looking for a spot to eat great food, chill with friends and have a great time, visit The Harvest.

Their playlist is lit as well and thank you Segun for being such a great waiter.
