Crust & Cream - Restaurant Review
Hey Foodie Fam!
I recently subscribed to Quote Guru and I've been getting quotes sent to me almost daily. I love this because it gives you something to think about during your day which I think is great so I've decided to always drop a quote for you guys that stop by my blog.

Some Saturdays back, I visited Crust & Cream for lunch. I had heard different reviews of the place from different friends who had visited already and so, I was excited to finally form an opinion. Located on Musa Yaradua street, Victoria Island, Crust & Cream isn't just a restaurant but also a bakery and bar. You'd find street parking as the compound can only park 4 cars.
Walking into Crust & Cream, you have the option to seat in their garden, bakery or the restaurant. They also have a smoking area.
We chose to sit in the restaurant by the window with a lovely view of the garden.
A waiter brought the menu out to us and it was pretty extensive but properly sectioned. I wasn't particularly hungry so I decided to get something easy like a wrap. I went with their Beef Tenderloin Wrap while Dee got their Heavy Weight Burger (the real foodie). For drinks I got their Mixed fruit smoothie which was actually very refreshing and sweet. Dee got their Whiskey Sour which I absolutely refuse to taste.
Even though they had a full house, my drink was out in a few minutes and our food came out in about 15minutes. I have to mention that their portion size is actually great and the food is plated beautifully.
Let's get to the business of the day;
Beef Tenderloin Wrap
This is a beef fillet with sauteed green bell pepper and onions wrapped in fat free tortilla. This was served with a side of chips and salsa. The salsa was great and just the right amount of tangy however, I found my wrap dry. I was promised cheese and guacamole. I did not get a bite of the cheese till I got to the bottom of the wrap. If there was guacamole in the wrap, I did not notice it.
Heavy Weight Burger
As the name implies, this is a double patty burger with cheese, tomatoes, onions and lettuce. Served with a side of chips, this a hungry man's delight as its very filling and also quite tasty. Not very easy to handle as Dee had to use a fork and knife.
For dessert, we got their Crepe. Our waiter completely forgot our dessert order and we had to ask for it a couple of times but when it eventually arrived, it was a delight.
What I like about this dessert is the way every item was served separately so you could pick and choose what you wanted to go in every bite.
The Crepe was served with vanilla ice cream, banana and strawberry slices, chocolate sauce, maple syrup, chocolate chips and nuts. One word: AWESOME
Price:
Beef Tenderloin Wrap - N4,500
Heavy Weight Burger - N5,500
Crepe - N2,800
