Chicken Curry Sauce
Hey darls!
So, the weekend is fast approaching and you've gone through all the recipes in your head for the week. This recipe is not only fast but healthy and incredibly tasty!
I like it because of the vegetables and it's a great alternative to the regular chicken or beef tomato stew we like. Here's the recipe, enjoy!
To serve 4
Ingredients;
Chicken- 1 kilo
Carrots- 3 fingers
String beans- to taste
Green pepper - 2
Onions - 1 large
Spring onions - to taste
Salt- to taste
Dry pepper - to taste
Seasoning cubes - 3
Soy sauce- 3 tablespoons
Ginger - to taste
Garlic - to taste
Flour - 1 cooking spoon
Vegetable oil- 1 cooking spoon
Procedure;
-wash and cut chicken into small pieces
- place in a pot add 2 of your seasoning cubes, salt, dry pepper, ginger and garlic (I prefer them fresh and not the powder substitute). Boil till tender making sure you have enough stock as the stock is the foundation of the meal.
-place clean pot on fire, add oil, when hot lower heat to medium and add onions, carrot (chopped)and soy sauce.Let fry for 1min. Add the rest of your vegetables( chopped ). Stir and let fry for 2mins we want the vegetables fresh.
- add your chicken stock, and 2 glasses of water. Add remaining seasoning cube, salt and pepper.
- in a bowl, mix flour with water to get liquid milk type of consistency. Add to the sauce to thicken. Stir and let cook for about a minute and a half.
- It's ready!
You can serve this with boiled white rice, boiled yam or potatoes e.t.c
