Coco Lounge - Restaurant Review

I've not been so excited to review a restaurant like this one EVER!

Before I go on I must tell you that at the end of the evening, I had to compliment the dessert chef. Guys!! I had mouthgasm last night. One of those meals you never ever forget.

Ok, ok! Before I keep going on and on, the restaurant is located at Stanbic heights area in Accra Ghana.

The decor is TO DIE FOR!!! I had to take various pictures but you have to be there to completely appreciate it.

I had to stunt! *wink

This secluded area is for private dinners

I would advise you call ahead for a reservation to ensure you get seated immediately, also they have a strict dress code which means DRESS UPP!!.

The service I received was honestly very impressive. The staff were really happy and goofy but extremely attentive. The hostess was extremely polite, making sure we had everything we needed. The staff were a jovial bunch, dancing to tables to deliver surprise birthday cakes.

For my readers that don't know, music is very important to me. Coco lounge was not lacking in the music department. I caught myself dancing on my seat more than once.

They have a breakfast menu that's available till 5pm!!! HELLO breakfast people like myself! They also offer burgers, pizza's, a large salad option, smoothies, juices, cocktails, wine...you have to go to find out what else (tongue out)

I had their slim beef, bacon , egg burger with fries. The burger was extremely good. It didn't spill all over the plate as I took bites. The bun was the right texture.

My friend had their fried rice and an extra plate of Jollof rice like you'll see in the pictures below. The fried rice had a generous helping of chicken and beef. Ive never had Jollof rice or fried rice tastes so good in Ghana. No shito needed but available 😉. Their portion size is great too!

I also got their cranberry juice and my friend got their Chapman.  Refreshing! Did I mention their impressive cocktail list?!

For dessert I had their apple pie with vanilla ice cream.We also got their chocolate brownie with ice cream as well. One word DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! I've never had dessert make me feel so happy.

 I wish they had a more elaborate menu. The waiter was mannered enough to answer my billion questions 😂😂
A great thing was we didn't wait up to 30 minutes to get served

Their pricing was surprisingly low for the quality of food and service. The damage done was less than 230 cedis plus tips which is already included so you need not tip extra unless....
.The dessert chef was kind enough to come say hi when I asked to thank her and took us round the entire restaurant. They also have an insane lounge/club called Carbon on the top floor and Urban Grill a floor below Carbon

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate them 8. A sheer delight experience!

You should definitely stop by if you're in Accra. Coco lounge.
