Beef Sauce Recipe

Hey guys!

It's been a minute I put up a recipe post. I've been enjoying reviewing restaurants too much lately.
I was craving spicy the other day and missing the kitchen I decided to throw something together. The result was as flavorful and spicy as I wanted along side delicious!
Here's what I did...

Ingredients:

- Beef (1 kilo)
- Tomatoes (2 large, 2 medium)
- Tomato paste (2 cooking spoons)
- Onions (1 whole)
- Green pepper (1 whole)
- fresh scotch bonnets (atarodo/red pepper/ fresh pepper | to taste. )
- Vegetable/ olive oil (to taste | I used 3 cooking spoons)
- salt and pepper ( dry powdered | to taste)
- curry ( 2 tablespoons)
- thyme ( 2 teaspoon)
- basil (fresh or dry)
- seasoning cubes (2)
- ginger and garlic ( I used a store bought paste)

Procedure:
- In a clean pot, add washed Beef, a bit of roughly cut onions, powdered pepper, salt, a seasoning cube, ginger and garlic, a little curry and thyme and cover.
I usually allow my meats boil in their own juices for a while before adding water.
- Once beef is tender, cut in small pieces and set aside.

- In a nonstick pan add your oil allow to heat up and add beef. Allow to fry for about two minutes.
- Add sliced onions, tomatoes, fresh pepper, green pepper and stir.

You can add any other protein or vegetable such as cabbage. I added diced sausages.
- Add remaining seasoning cube, curry, thyme and salt. Allow to fry for about 2 minutes then add tomato paste and beef stock. Stir and allow to fry.

At this you can taste and adjust your seasoning to taste.
Fry till oil stays on the surface of the sauce.

You can add water for desired consistency right after adding your tomato paste.
Serve with rice, yam, potatoes, pasta....
Let me know how it goes in your kitchen!
