JOHNNY ROCKETS vs BBQ N CRAVINGS - The Best Burger Search
It was a Sunday afternoon, the sun was out in full force and our bellies were empty and growling. We took a cab to Johnny Rockets on Adetokunbo Ademola street in Victoria Island to try out firsthand their burger as it came highly recommended on Instagram.
The loaded fries came out pretty quickly, and it was generously loaded with cheese and ground beef. I felt that it was too pricey but my budget is not your budget so you can overlook this.
We got in and of course had to record and create some content for you guys, madam waiter thought we were wasting time (?) and decided to rush us to order.
We ordered under distress to an unsmiling waiter and I realized my 4,300 burger did not come with a side and ordering drink that wasn't water would take my bill way above my budget I decided to get a bottle of water and share a plate of loaded fries with Yehmah.

I got the Bacon Cheddar burger and Yehmah got their Rocket single.

As you can see in the pictures, the burger came out looking small but it was actually really good. I enjoyed how fresh the lettuce was but for the price you'd think I'd get at least more than one strip of bacon right? I laugh.
We were still hungry after (shocking) and also we were on a search for the best burger so we headed to Lekki to try out BBQ N Cravings. I have a full review from when I visited previously HERE.
A lot of people recommended them and I was eager to see if it would live up to the hype...IT DID! The only issue here is aesthetics or should I say the ambiance does not compare to Johnny Rockets, but if you're looking for a casual, laid back setting then you'd be alright.
I'm not even gonna waste time with too many words, it was definitely money well spent. Your burger comes with a side of either sweet potato fries or french fries.
Guys I'm in tears thinking about the awesomeness that was my YOLO Burger. It had smoked prawns, bacon (I couldn't count how many!!!!!!!), beef patty and cheese.
Yehmah got their Old Country Burger which is apparently their customers favorite.
After taking a bite of her burger I did not need any explanation as to why everyone loves it. It had a sunny side up fried egg, sausages, caramelized onions, cheese and of course the beef patty. We had to section it into four to get a bite. It was loaded!

It was all together a fun day and I felt 4 months pregnant afterwards but it was totally worth it.
